Established in 1987, R&K Certified Roofing began as a family-owned and operated company built on honesty, integrity, and superior craftsmanship.
Owner Ken Reed brought more than 35 years of construction and roofing expertise from California and Illinois to Northeast Florida. After the devastating 2004 hurricane season, Ken saw firsthand the critical need for durable, storm-resistant roofing across the state.
That experience shaped our mission: to provide Florida homeowners and businesses with roofing solutions that stand strong against the elements.
Today, with three generations of roofers on our team, we continue that tradition. We specialize in customized roofing installations, repairs, and replacements for residential and commercial properties. A distinguished U.S. Navy veteran, Ken has over 39 years of experience in the construction and roofing industry.
After successful contracting careers in Illinois and California, he relocated to Florida and founded R&K Certified Roofing.
Ken’s vision, work ethic, and family-first philosophy remain at the heart of everything we do.
Don Reed
Chief Financial Officer & Owner
A U.S. Army veteran with a diverse background in pipe trades, engineering design, and finance,
Donald joined Ken in 2007 to help build a company rooted in pride and excellence.
