With over 35+ years’ experience in the construction industry, R&K Certified Roofing of Florida, Inc., maintained its status as one of the most and desirable and dependable roofing services by being a local, family owned & operated company who values honesty, integrity and treats your home or business as if it were their own.

Our owner, Ken Reed, has been in the construction industry for over 35+ years. He was a roofing contractor in California and Illinois before relocating to Florida. When the series of hurricanes hit Florida in 2004, Ken traveled the state repairing the damages left behind. This helped him to better understand the need for top-notch roofing.

We are experts in all aspects of roofing projects and our services are customized to each project according to your needs. We specialize in both installations and repairs. Meet the R&K Family

Kenneth Reed

President | Owner

Ken started as a hard-working contractor in the western suburbs of Illinois. After 18 years and 6 kids later, he and his wife, of 35 years, decided to semi-retire. When he arrived in Florida, contractor friends asked him to be a business consultant. Failing at retirement, he and his family moved to and established R & K Roofing in northeast Florida. Ken's dad and his five sons have all worked for the family business.

Donald Reed

CFO | Owner

I was born in the shadow of Pike’s Peak and spent most of my life in the west. I spent twenty-seven years in the pipe trades, the last three years designing piping systems in computer chip factories around the country. I also spent seventeen years as a stockbroker. In 2007 my son, Ken Reed, asked me to join him at R & K Certified Roofing. Between us (mostly Ken), we’ve built a company of which I’m proud.

David Reed

General Manager | Owner

David is the GM of R&K. He comes to us with tremendous expertise; graduated with a mechanical engineering degree from UCF; earned a patent; worked for Seaman’s Engineering Corporation in Orlando immediately after graduating and for 5 years. David decided to travel the world for a year. Once he returned to the states, his brother asked him to work with dad for a bit and help expand the business. David challenges himself daily to make every customer in every county understand and experience the family culture, hard work ethic, and superior workmanship of R&K.

Kelly Acrin

IT Manager / Asst Office Manager / Asst Production Manager

I was born and raised in New Jersey until 1990 when I moved to Florida with my parents. While in the US Air Force, I married my high school sweetheart. We have lived in Flagler County since 2001 with our 2 daughters where I was a Volunteer Firefighter. Working at R&K Certified Roofing is one of the best places I have ever been proud to call home. R&K is a company built on strong family values. I strive to take care of our network infrastructure / website / and most importantly, our Awesome Customers.

Travis McCaslin

Sales Manager | Insurance Specialist

Originally from Atlanta Georgia(Go Braves) but have lived in Palm Coast since 1996. I grew up around the construction business as my Father and both older brothers are in the industry. I'm a sports fanatic and enjoy just about anything outdoors. My pride and joy, however, is my beautiful Wife and two kids. (Amber, Noah, and Alana.) R&K is a fantastic place to work! With good people and good opportunities. I genuinely enjoy my time here and I'm passionate about what I do.

Brandon Whaley

My name is Brandon Whaley, I was born in Jacksonville, FL but I’ve been in Palm Coast since I was 2 years old. I have a wife of five years and two boys that keep me busy. I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors. R&K Roofing has a great working atmosphere and allows us to communicate freely and problem solve closely with management to come up with the best solutions for our customers. I look forward to helping you with your roofing needs!

Jaime Edwards

Hello, my name is Jaime Edwards. I'm originally from Southern Illinois. I moved to Florida with my wife, Lisa, and my daughter, Hannah, in 2015. I originally moved to become a hearing specialist with the state of Florida, but I am now a sales representative for R&K Roofing. I enjoy fishing, grilling, football and many other outdoor activities. I also enjoy spending time with family and friends. I truly enjoy my job and the people I work with and for and I look forward to the chance of getting to know you.
